Trio Sowari are an electro-acoustic free improvisation group comprising Bertrand Denzler - tenor saxophone, Phil Durrant - modular synth and Burkhard Beins - percussion & objects. Since 2004, Trio Sowari has played dozens of concerts in France, England, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany, taking part in several festivals like the LMC Festival (London), Météo (Mulhouse), Ear We Are (Biel), (Paris), (Poitiers), Frakture (Liverpool), Musiques Innovatrices (Saint-Etienne), GRIM (Marseille), NPAI (Parthenay), Rebonds (Albi), Total Meeting (Tours) a.m.o. Their third album ‘Third Issue’ was published by Mikroton Recordings in 2018.
Daniel Spicer and Paul Khimasia Morgan have three duo releases; “SU:V22”, a document of their live performance in V22’s garden for Strange Umbrellas, “Sepertae” a cassette on Linear Obsessional and “Hazeblaze / Coastal Fulmar”, a split 7”. Brand new quartet recordings with bassist Peter Marsh and percussionist Paul May is scheduled for release in 2020. Daniel’s book of poetry, collage and dreams, “These Changes” has just been made available. Paul’s latest album, “peoplegrowold” is released by Confront.
